The presence of the yellow peach slices brought me back to my younger days spent gorging on Delifrance’s peach tarts. Ideal for those with a sweet tooth, this dessert pastry remained pretty crispy even after a while of sitting. Though some might find its sugariness a little cloying, the fruitiness and floral sweetness of the peach breathes life into it, so this was a winner for me.

Absolutely love the Chicken Luncheon Meat Egg, because its a childhood favourite of mine. The soft, fluffy, chewy bread / bun has a meaty savoury slab of spam / luncheon meat, which isn't overly salty. Paired with a tender slice of egg omelette, this is my ideal of a delicious breakfast bun. Highly recommended!

I've had plenty of floss buns in my life, but never one with egg mayo inside! Anyways this bun is pretty good! The floss and mayo, being slightly sweet and slightly salty, is a super classic combo. The egg mayo part was a dollop in the middle of the bun, and I quite liked it. There wasn't a super strong egg taste but it was enough to distinguish it from a regular floss bun.

The Steamed Rice Cakes were very soft and fluffy, and had a subtle sweet taste that made it delicious to eat on its own. Otherwise, you can dip them into orange sugar as well, which is provided in the packet. A yummy and nostalgic pastry! :)

Crolo REALLY brings affordable croissants into the heartlands! They always have a promotion of buy-6-get-2 croissants free and we think it’s pretty reasonable as their croissants all have fillings. Will definitely want to try more of their dessert range the next time (esp mango!!)

First time trying a cake from Swee Heng! Though it's not shown in the pics, there's a thick layer of caramel sauce on top of the cake and it's really sweet, the cream is really nice too! I especially love the generous topping of chopped almonds, which gave it a nice crunch. Overall a pretty nice cake! If you have a sweet tooth and love almonds, I'd recommend trying this!
